The Myth of "We Are One": Destructive vs. Healthy Fusion
Many believe that true love requires completely dissolving into a partner. But such destructive fusion leads not to intimacy, but to the loss of self and codependency .
True intimacy is possible only in the safe space created by boundaries. When you respect each other's autonomy, the need for manipulation disappears. You can speak honestly about your desires, knowing you will not be judged .
The Water Metaphor: To quench our thirst, we take water into ourselves, but we do not become the water. We are nourished while remaining ourselves. Similarly, in healthy relationships: we can temporarily "dissolve" in a moment of passion, but then calmly return to our autonomy .

How to change your attitude towards difficult situations? Use the reframing technique (changing the frame). The meaning of an event depends not on the event itself, but on the meaning we give it .
Reframing Matrix (Example):
- Automatic Thought: "If I say 'no' to staying late, my manager will think I'm lazy".
- Reframing (Focus on Competence): "By saying 'no', I demonstrate time management skills, allowing me to do my main job with high quality".
- Reframing (Depersonalization): "For the manager, the main thing is the work getting done. My refusal is just information for resource reallocation" .
By changing the meaning, we change our feelings and regain control over our lives.
