Create realistic space for running through a time audit, short formats, family agreements, boundaries, and work with automatic thoughts.

Running as a rhythm of interaction with body and life
Time cannot always be found
Work, care, travel, illness, danger, and unstable schedules are real constraints. Waking earlier may pay for running with lost sleep.
Audit instead of criticism
Mark occupied blocks, transitions, caregiving, and 10–30 minute windows for one week. The purpose is reality and trade-offs, not proof of poor organisation.
Three formats
Prepare a full run, a short version, and an alternative form of movement. The choice no longer collapses into perfect or nothing.
Agreements
If running requires childcare, a changed schedule, or route check-ins, it becomes a shared agreement. Reciprocity sees both your need and another person's contribution.
Automatic thoughts
“Ten minutes do not count,” “everything must be finished first,” or “I am selfish” are thoughts to test against facts, costs, and a more accurate response.
Safety
Darkness, air-raid alerts, heat, ice, or exhaustion change the plan. Cancelling a particular run may be responsible.
The MriyaRun philosophy
Time for running is made by giving it a place among other values, not by fighting the rest of life. Sometimes it is forty minutes, sometimes ten, and sometimes an honest pause.
“Running becomes part of life when a person can listen inwardly, consider others, and change the plan without diminishing personal worth.”
A reflection tool
Practical use: after a run, record the facts, bodily state, emotion, thought, and need. For this written pause, you can use CBT SHIFT.
