A marathon as a system of decisions, adaptation, and support
Registration does not prove worth
A bib does not prove strength or belonging. It is a decision with time, bodily, and financial costs.
Seven questions
- What do I want to experience or test?
- Should health be discussed with a clinician?
- How much time is truly available?
- Who will share domestic load?
- What will it cost?
- What outcome is enough beyond time?
- When will I change distance or withdraw?
Motivation can be mixed
Curiosity, meaning, company, status, and fear of falling behind may coexist.
Withdrawal can be accurate
Pain, illness, limited time, unsafe conditions, or changed priorities do not make withdrawal failure.
The MriyaRun philosophy
Choice begins with reality and the freedom to revise.
“A marathon need not prove human worth. It can show how someone learns to negotiate with body, time, and people.”
A practical tool
To observe state, thoughts, load, and recovery, you can use CBT SHIFT.
