The further away from reality our picture of the world is, the more our perception is distorted, the more often we make wrong decisions and perform inefficient and sometimes unreasonable actions. The picture of the world is not reality. It can be close or far from reality. Each person has his own distortions and this leads to destructive desires
Destructive motivation is a state or process where motivation leads a person to negative, harmful or destructive actions. This can include accelerated burnout, loss of ethics, even harm to one's own health or the environment. Destructive motivation can arise from a variety of reasons, such as low self-esteem, dissatisfaction, envy, anger, or an unstable emotional state.
Examples of destructive motivation include things like shifting one's responsibilities to others, making false advertising or marketing promises, harming someone through competition, and committing physical or emotional abuse.
However, there are many other examples of destructive motivation that we may overlook: Expectant parents with destructive motivation think that having a child will change their status or fix their problems, but when the child appears, their worldview can be shattered. This can be the result of unrealistic expectations, insufficient preparation for parenthood or unstable emotional stability, and it can also be instilled by society or the environment.

Our lives are the result of our own decisions. Where we are now and what brought us here is all causally related to our beliefs and reality. But if we don't understand, what we come here for, our brain will not spend resources on it, or will change priorities. Therefore, if there will be achievements, they will not be very good, and the time and resources spent will be huge.
How many marriages imposed by status, parental fears? How much time do children spend on getting a degree in a field they are not interested in? The phrase "The main thing is to study, son, and we'll buy you a laptop. Then you finish and we'll live" - the child did not see a future for himself, but faithfully followed the instructions of his parents.
A good goal becomes a false one, which leads our hero far from what is really useful to him. For example: marriage, children, victories, various habits, appearance, status, diploma. Goals that can't give a clear, honest answer about what they decide for you and not for others?
Much depends on whether a person is ready to accept feedback and adjust his picture of the world. Therefore, incorrect knowledge that does not correspond to reality leads to a problem. The picture of the world is permeated with what seems to us to be authoritative and important - movies and series, brands, authoritative personalities, behavioral programs, and every day we strengthen our distortion more and more, and the thought that everything should be different forces us to do the "right" actions , leading to personal tragedy and drama.
But the very question and answer appear with a false need and in the end lead to disappointment.
